Happy Birthday to Emree!

Emree had her First Birthday on Thursday. She got way too many presents, too much sugar, and too much love (if that is possible). Her Great Grandma Jewkes was here and her Grandma Andre came to see her. Having everyone here to celebrate made it pretty special. We didn't really have a party, but partied all day.

Even dad put his pride aside and wore a princess crown.

The whole party crew!

These pictures go from messiest to cleanest. I made Em a giant cupcake. She loved it.

Opening a few of her presents... She liked to rip them slowly. Her favorite however was taking the stuff out of the bags and trying to put on her clothes that she got.

These are the balloons she got from Debbie, Hannah, Liza and Allyson. They were her favorite thing ever! She loved them because they sang "Happy Birthday" and she is still making us listen to them over and over and over again!

Em loves to walk, run, dance, play, hug, pull hair, and read! She mostly just babbles, but she can kind of say mama, dada, ball, moo, pant like a dog, and snort like a pig. She refuses to kiss people, but loves kissing all other objects. She also loves carrying things while she wanders around the house and makes mess after mess. Oh and she is slightly obsessed with throwing things in the toilet. We love her and we'll keep her! Happy Birthday Em!

Vintage clothing!

Emree wore one of Kenzie's old dresses to church today. They look a lot alike, maybe even more then her and I do. She is a crack up at church. She loves to run around and wave at people. The older ladies in our ward think she is hilarious because she likes to do a pageant type wave. I promise you I did not teach her that.

This is Kenzie...

Today in Sunday school she found a basketball to play with in the corner. She walked around and dropped her snacks around the speaker. She chased her friend Hattie around some vacant chairs. She tried carrying Hattie's water baby, but it was too heavy. She chewed on the microphone cord and put her fingers in the plug by the front of the room. I promise I try not to be one of those parents that just lets their child run free, but I will never say never again. lol.

Let the countdown begin... 6 months until nursery!

Performances!

As many of you know, I am in Washington teaching dance. Teaching ALOT of dance. My girls performed a father/daughter number this weekend and did a great job (if I do say so myself lol). There were a few music difficulties, but what can you do. On the top of the amazing list was my sister who is a Senior this year. I am so blessed to get the opportunity to teach this year and to spend so much time with my family! I love Kenzie!

I wouldn't say Granpa is Boring...

... He's just as cuddly as a big Teddy Bear!

My Dad is the King of getting Emree to sleep. She is quite wild and all over everything almost 99% of the time, but sometimes she lets Grandpa work his magic.
