Blah blah blah!

I could really talk your ear off. I spend almost all day with a one year old and we talk, almost constantly, but about nothing really. We talk about the alphabet, colors, numbers, animals, animals some more, and tickling. We even talk about how much we love each other and we spend some time every day talking about Jesus. Love and Jesus are important and the rest are sort of important. However, my mind keeps running and most of it just sits there. You should hear me when Ty comes in the door for two seconds. I talk his ear off. I talk about nothing still. I talk about people I saw, bills I paid, things I cleaned and although I promise it is not riveting conversation, he listens. Or at least he is really good at pretending to listen. And to all of you who I call and bug, mostly my mom and Tyler's mom, I am sorry. I just have all of these words trapped inside and no where for them to go. So, I am working on that. I am writing longer in my journal and even typing up this blog post (which most people won't want to read and a few people will relate to). If I only had interesting things to talk about maybe it would be better. If I were only doing interesting things maybe it would be better. And then I tell myself- three more months and there will be another person to talk to. I can talk to him about nothing because I am sure he won't care. Hmmm like I said, I can really talk your ear off.

I talk to kids all day, too. So when I finally get home at night....I talk to Brent for forever! He usually listens. :)

I'm sure you and Emree have very interesting things to say!

And someday, you will appreciate the quiet. Don't worry! It comes!

You need a blab buddy. They are the best! You have permission to call that person at any time and chat about absolutely nothing. My blab buddy and I usually just keep the phone to our ears as we wander, clean and take care of children, commenting occasionally as thoughts pop into our head.

It's sanity saving!

p.s. I will officially apply for position as your blab buddy anytime :)

i totally relate to this so so much. At least Tyler pretends to listen...David i don't think even pretends anymore!! HAHA he usually just laughs at me when I come to the realization that i just talked a mile a minute about absolutely nothing and he couldn't follow my train of thoughts even if he wanted to! and now this comment is turning into a lot of blah blah of nothingness! HA

At th end of a long day of mothering...I often thought to myself (when feeling pretty useless)...today I raised a child and THAT'S PRETTY DARN AMAZING! You are setting the foundation for an incredible mother-daughter relationship. I love seeing pictures of you and Emree!

Write away Danielle, write away. I love hearing/reading what you have to say.

I can totally relate! It will feel that way for years to come, but then somehow it will be gone and it will feel like it went by so fast! That picture is adorable.

I love it when you call me! Anything about my granddaughter is super important to me. So don't ever think that I'm not interested! Besides that, I'm sure my conversation isn't all that stimulating either. I think you are an amazingly patient mom and wife. I love you!

PS CALL ME!
