Easter Ideas?!

For some reason teaching about the Easter Bunny is easy. Emree totally gets it. The Easter Bunny hops on over to our house and brings us a basket full of presents. Of course that makes total sense.

But for some reason I am having a hard time finding a way to teach her about the true meaning of easter. Does anyone have a good idea of something to do for a two year old to help her think about the Savior on such a sacred holiday? Please HELP!

I don't know if this will help but I remember when I was little my mom made this cutout of a tomb and used a bracket so you could roll way the stone and the tomb would be empty so that we could learn that after three days Jesus was resurrected & no longer in the tomb. I think there might have been more to it but I don't remember. You should look into the fhe manual for help and my mom always got these fun books to go with the manual from somewhere(like seagull or desert book)that had cool cut outs and visual games & stuff. Just a thought!

I dont remember how I told my kids except that I told them the story of Jesus on that Easter morning over and over again, I think when they were really tired was when it worked best for me that way they would hold real still and listen. Church teachers helped also.
